Scholarships and Awards
The Department of Art awards a number of scholarships annually to incoming freshmen and current students. There are no awards specifically for transfer students at this time.
Incoming Freshmen
Each winter, high school art teachers nominate high school seniors to submit portfolios for a TU freshmen competition. The winners receive either $1,000 or $2,000 tuition scholarships. These scholarships are renewable if the student maintains excellent performance in classes and a high GPA.
Current Students
For current students, modest tuition awards are given each year during the annual juried student exhibition. These are not renewable, but students may enter the juried exhibition every year.
