Art Education Major
Student Teaching
Students receive dual certification at both the elementary and secondary levels. They spend 7 weeks as interns in an elementary experience (teaching grades K-5) and 7 weeks in a secondary experience (teaching in a middle or high school setting). Concurrent to student teaching, students take professional seminar one night a weeks where they process student teaching experience and prepare for employment.
