Art + Design Studio Major

Honors Program

Art offers majors the opportunity to complete a Departmental Honors Program. Interested students typically apply to the Departmental Honors Program during the second semester of the junior year. Students spend one year completing an honors project that is focused on a theme or idea of investigation. Successful completion of the project and paper not only allows for a diploma reading "graduation with Departmental Honors," but also helps students create a body of work, build a strong portfolio and train for graduate school.
