The Many Moons Festival 2010 was a great success. Close to 2,500 people joined us in the celebration of Asian arts and culture on September 12. Visitors came from all over Baltimore and the surrounding counties, and from neighboring states including Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. The festival included workshops and martial arts demonstrations. In addition, kids loved the arts and crafts, and puppet theatre. Visitors were able to enjoy the music and dance performances. Also, The Crossroads Marketplace presented crafts, healing arts, and delicious Asian cuisine. The gallery featured an inspiring and thought-provoking installation of contemporary art. Most importantly, families got to spend the day together, experiencing a blend of Asian culture that is unique in the region to the Many Moons Festival. The responses were overwhelmingly positive.
