Office of Assessment

The Office of Assessment is a unit of the Provost's Office and is responsible for coordinating the Towson University assessment program.

Working with the University Assessment Council and its subcommittees, the Office of Assessment facilitates the campus-wide collection, analysis, and use of assessment data to evaluate student learning outcomes and to support university planning; policy formulation and decision making;students working with a laptop regional and professional accreditations; and state accountability and excellence mandates.

The Towson University assessment program is organized in two areas: The TU student experience and  Institutional Assessment and Effectiveness.
