Subcommittee on General Education Assessment  SGEA

The purpose of the Subcommittee on General Education Assessment, as stated in the University Assessment Council bylaws, is to implement the policies of the UAC that apply to graduate programs by

  • Helping faculty design and implement assessment programs,
  • Guiding the collecting of information on graduate program assessment activities, and
  • Helping the University share and celebrate best practices in the assessment of graduate programs.

SGEA shall consist of at least one faculty member from each College, a representative of both the Honors College and the Library, and the Assistant Vice President for Assessment.
