Survey Coordinating Council
Towson University encourages appropriate and legitimate use of surveys to collect data from members of the university community. Surveys can be an effective method to collect information about a college or university community. Survey results may be used in conjunction with other information to identify needs, set priorities, develop policy, monitor and evaluate performance, conduct research, and make decisions. Each year, the number of surveys that members of the Towson University community are asked to complete grows and expands with the ease of online administration and scannable survey forms. Increased emphasis on collecting information for decision making and planning and for measuring outcomes supports an ongoing need for survey data.
