In the spring 2006 semester, the Office of Assessment launched a standardized Course Evaluation
instrument and process. That year a pilot course evaluation
instrument was administered in 52 classes in four departments of
the College of Liberal Arts, including Geography, History, Psychology, and
Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice. Using department chair and faculty member feedback, the pilot was repeated and expanded during the 2006-07 and 2007-08 academic years.
