Alcohol-impaired driving kills 1 person every 45 minutes. 32% of all traffic related deaths involved alcohol. 16% of children between the ages of 0 and 14 who were killed in a traffic accident had alcohol involved. Other drug use, such as marijuana and cocaine, accounted for 18% of motor vehicle driver deaths. Over 1.4 million drivers were arrested in 2008 for driving under the influence. What can you do to reduce driving under the influence?
