The Towson University Marching Band is the only university band in the nation participating in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Please join Towson University faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends at a spectacular send-off celebration for the Marching Band before they head to New York City for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

We'd like your help in promoting the Nov. 23 Marching Band Send-off Celebration in Unitas Stadium. We really want a good turnout. Dr. Caret and County Executive Jim Smith are confirmed for the program. There will be free refreshments and giveaways. Also, thanks to Deb Moriarty and Louise Miller we will have some great door prizes – a 32" flat screen TV, Wii, portable DVD player, and Ipod. Also the first 100 guests will receive a $5 gift certificate to either Five Guys, Chipotle, Starbucks or Target.

Guests adding without a TU parking permit should go to the first level of the Union garage and request a visitor permit from the greeter which will allow them to park in any available legal parking space. Once you have parked, enter the University Union and precede to the 3rd floor. Signs on the 3rd floor will direct you to the Chesapeake rooms.
