December 3rd – Information

Here is the much anticipated information about tickets for band parents for this Saturday’s Towson University Marching Band performance at the football playoff game. :-) The details:

1. For tickets call this number 410-704-2244 (this is different than what is posted on the athletic website)
2. Mention that you are a parent of a band member and your tickets will be $5 each. This is a discount from the $16 tickets for the general public.
3. You will pick up your tickets at the “will call” at Gate D – bring ID.
4. They do expect the “will call” to be very busy. It opens at 2pm and it is suggested to get there early.

Complimentary Football Game Tickets

Every member of the TU TIGER Marching Band is given two complimentary admission tickets for every home football game. At the Monday and Wednesday band rehearsal preceding a home football weekend, band members will be able to submit two names for complimentary admission. It is important that tickets are signed up for by the Wednesday rehearsal at the latest. The ticket office must have the information that evening.

On game day, to retrieve these tickets, parents and friends should report to the "Marching Band Will Call" table located in Lot 21. This is where the TUMB holds our pregame cookouts. Feel free to stop by early to say hi to the band members! (See Red Arrow on Map) *After Kick-off, the TUMB complimentary tickets will be moved to the general will call located at Gate D on the North concourse side of the stadium. This is the opposite side from the band's cookout location.

Game Day Parking

Parking for game day is free with locations on a first come first serve basis. Lots will be open 3 hours prior to the start of the game. If you arrive early, there may be very limited spots located in Lot 21 (next to the band cookout). Otherwise, Lot 14 is open to general/student parking. Once the stadium lots are filled, parking will be located in the Union garage with a shuttle to bring fans to the stadium. Plan on arriving early if you are looking to secure a parking spot close to the stadium.

In order for the many endeavors of the TIGER Marching Band to run smoothly, its members depend on support and assistance from parents and friends. The responsibilities are numerous, but integral to the success of the TUMB and appreciated by all. Being a part of the making of the TUMB's season also lets you watch your beloved band members perform, and our audiences are what drives our energy.
