The Blackboard Mobile
Learn App has the following features available:

- Faculty can post announcements

Students can check their grades

Read and post to your class blogs. Android and
iOS devices can add media attachments to blogs and
Androids can upload non-media files as well.
Roster -
Students and faculty can view their class roster
Discussions
- Students and Faculty can reply to and create new
threads.
Android and iOS devices can add media attachments to
discussion boards and Androids can upload non-media
files as well.
Journals - Faculty and Students can read and
comment on Journal entries.
Media - Students can access
media files posted by their instructors via the
mobile device.
Tasks - Students can mark off a
task while they are in progress and at
completion.

Issues
Currently Android phones are seeing an error when
trying to access the Mobile Learn App.
Response via Bb Inc. Support:
"The issue with the Android SSL error you are seeing
is a known issue and is directly related to the
Android device as the Android appears to only
contain alimited number of CA root certifiactes for
VeriSign, Thawte and GeoTrust, listed in the device.
Android is ready to release OS 2.3 "Gingerbread"
anytime now and I am hoping that this will address
the SSL issues with this device. "
