Blackboard connect

Blackboard Connect allows students to opt-in to receive text and text-to-voice notifications from their professors and to opt-in to receive alerts when their professors have added assignments, tests, posted announcements and many other additions to a course. 

STUDENT INFORMATION

Students: To opt-in or out of this feature you need to either add or remove your mobile number from your Personal Information in Blackboard.  This document will step you through how to opt-in or out and how to select which alerts you would like to receive.

Note: Faculty please keep in mind when using this tool you are sending text messages directly to the students personal cell phones.  This tool should be limited to 160 characters; emergencies, classes cancelled, test changes and other pertinent information.  Do NOT use this feature for regular class announcements.
