Welcome to the Blackboard Quick Start Orientation for Students!

Review the following pages to start using Blackboard quickly and easily. This Quick Start Orientation includes instructions for the eight most common tasks for students in Blackboard Learn 9.1:

1. Setting Up your Computer to use Blackboard Without Errors

Practice Blackboard Skills Online

If you prefer a more interactive orientation, Towson students have permission to use a hands-on orientation created by Columbus State Community College:

Once you enter the Orientation course site and expand the menu on the left, you can try various tools:

• Under Assignments & Exams, you can practice submitting a Quiz and an Assignment and posting in the Discussion Board
• Under My Grades, you can practice: Checking your grades
