Learn how to use the potter’s wheel and
handbuilding techniques to produce unique clay
objects. Topics include wedging, centering and
wheel throwing, with coiling, slab construction,
and glaze applications. This class combines demonstrations
and hands-on work sessions. Returning students
will be able to concentrate on the wheel or handbuilt
construction. For beginners and intermediate
students. Includes firing fee.

Students
will focus on developing stronger drawing and
painting skills and techniques. Concepts will
be presented each week for participants to use
as a springboard in which to focus on specific
areas of concentration. With frequent critiques,
students will be encouraged to develop their
own direction. Classes are tailored to individual
abilities and interests. |
