How to Register for a Team Sport or Tournament

1. Download the entry form from the Intramural Sports web site, and complete the form.      At the time of registration, only the captain's information must be complete. It is not necessary to have the names and ID numbers for all team members at this time.

2. Go to the University Union Ticket/Cash Office and pay the registration fee. Make sure you get a receipt. If your team does not forfeit, all of this fee is refundable and can be picked up at the Campus Recreation Services Office at the end of the season. The Ticket/Cash Office is open Mondays from 8:30am-7:00pm, Tuesdays from 10:00am-7:00pm, Wednesday through Friday from 10:00am-4:00pm, Saturdays from 10:00am-2:00pm, and Sundays from 9:00am-1:00pm.

  3. After you pay the registration fee, bring your entry form and receipt to the Campus       Recreation Services Office (Burdick Hall 151) during normal office hours and sign up for   your league. League selection is first-come, first-served, so sign up early!!! Some   tournaments do not have pre-arranged leagues, so you may only need to drop off your   entry form and receipt in some cases. The CRS Office is open Monday through Friday   from  8:00am-5:00pm.

  4. Attend the mandatory Captains Meeting (if applicable) to receive valuable information   regarding Intramural Sports policies, sports rules, and league information.

  Free Agents
Individuals interested in participating but do not have a team may become free agents.

   1. Pay the $5 free agent fee at the University Union Ticket/Cash Office (office hours are   listed above). This fee is non-refundable, unless for some reason a free agent is not   placed on a team.

   2. Come over to the Campus Recreation Services Office (office hours listed above) with   your receipt to sign up on the free agent list of your desired sport.

  3. You will be contacted by the Intramural Sports Office after you are placed on a team.    Free agents do not need to attend the Captains Meeting.

We will do our best to place all free agents on a team. There is a possibility that not all   free agents will be able to be placed on a team due to limited team space.
