Pat Mead has worked at Towson University since 1998. He is the Head Swim Coach and also oversees the scheduling, maintenance and operation of the pool. Pat is also in charge of supervising the lifeguards.
In 1992, Pat graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Political Science. In 1994, Pat received his Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from Springfield College. Pat became involved in recreation when he was hired as the Aquatics Director and Head Coach at Drew University where he opened up and started a 15 million dollar recreation center. Pat is a certified Red Cross Instructor and Lifeguard Training Instructor. He also holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, and he is a Certified Pool Operator. Pat is also a member of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA).
Pat is from Cherry Hill, New Jersey. His favorite thing to do is spend time with his kids.
