About the Event
Get off to a healthy start this holiday season by signing up for the 30th Annual Turkey Run. Run the 5K (3.1-mile) course around Towson's campus or take part in the 1-mile Family Fun Walk! The race is open to people of all ages and abilities.

5K Run
The 5K Run course begins and ends on the track in Unitas Stadium.
After completing 300m around the track, runners will exit the stadium via Auburn Drive then run a lollipop route around Towson University's scenic, metropolitan campus.
Members of the Towson University Police Department and Baltimore County Police Department will facilitate the road crossing at Cross Campus and Osler Drive.
After coasting downhill on Auburn, runners will re-enter the stadium and finish the race with a second 300m around the track.

1-Mile Walk
The 1-Mile Walk will consist of 4 laps around lanes 1-4 on the track in Unitas Stadium. Entertainment will be provided during the walk.
Course Rules and Race Etiquette
- No strollers, bicycles, rollerskates, rollerblades, skateboards or pets will be allowed on the 5K or 1-Mile course.
- iPods, MP3 players, and similar devices are permitted during the race, but it is recommended that you keep the volume at a level at which you are aware of your environment and any emergency situations which may arise.
Online registration closes at 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, Nov. 16. Race-day registration is available from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. in Unitas Stadium.

*Online registration includes a convenience fee. A percentage of convenience fees will be donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand.
**Cash or check will be accepted on race day. Make checks payable to Towson University. Must bring a form of identification to register. If registering as a Student or Faculty/Staff, must bring valid TU OneCard. If registering as an Alumnus/-a, must bring valid Alumni card.
Prizes will be distributed to the first-place male and female winners of each race category. One award per participant (overall winner cannot also win age category).

**NEW IN 2012**
Prizes will also be given to the highest fundraising team (up to 30 people) and highest fundraising individual. All fundraising will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand.
All participants are eligible for raffle prizes, which will be given out during the awards ceremony.
