Before stuffing your face at a family feast, run or walk our picturesque 5 K (3.1 miles) course around Towson's campus. The money will go to a great cause, and you'll reap the benefits of getting some exercise and fresh air. The race is open to people of all ages and abilities.

The 5K (3.1 miles) course will begin in front of Burdick Hall and continue through the campus. There will also be a 1 mile walk available this year!

Registration & Check-In	Burdick Hall, Gym 1	8:30-9:15 a.m.
Aerobic Warm-Up	Burdick Field	9:15 a.m.
5K Run Starts	Burdick Field	9:30 a.m.
1 Mile Walk Starts	Burdick Field	9:45 a.m.

Cost:
$5 for TU students, faculty, and staff.  $15 for runners not affiliated with Towson University.
All race proceeds will be donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand.  Click here for more information regarding Alex's story.

Registration:
To register before the race, download or pick up a registration form from Burdick Hall, Room 150, by November 20. Registration will be held in Burdick Hall on the day of the event from 8:30-9:15 a.m. The 5K race will start promptly at 9:30 a.m. The 1 mile walk will begin at 9:45 a.m.

The first 50 individuals registered will receive a t-shirt! You must be present the day of the race to receive the t-shirt!

Prizes:
Prizes will be distributed to the first place winners of all race categories. Raffle prizes will also be awarded.

• The 1 mile walk will consist of 4 laps around the sidewalk around Burdick Field

Course Rules and Race Ettiquette:

• The time limit to complete the 5K is 1 Hour
• No strollers, bicycles, rollerskates, rollerblades, skateboards or other wheeled vehicles will be allowed on the course
• No dogs or other pets will be allowed on the course
• iPods, MP3 players, and similar devices are permitted during the race, but it is recommended that you keep the volume at a level at which you are aware of your environment and any emergency situations which may arise
