ACCIDENTS & INSURANCE
The Department of Campus Recreation Services (CRS), the Division for Student Affairs, and Towson University are not responsible for injuries incurred in intramural, recreational, fitness and sport club activities. CRS will provide first aid if possible, and along with the University Police if necessary, will solicit transportation to a hospital. Medical expenses beyond those covered by the participant’s insurance are the responsibility of the participant.

Participants should know and be able to meet the physical demands of any activity in
which they are to engage. Each activity has a certain degree of risk, some more than
others. CRS STRONGLY recommends all students not covered by health and accident
 insurance purchase student insurance.
