Baltimore Rampage is Towson University's annual spring top rope climbing competition. It is the largest intercollegiate climbing competition on the east coast and is open to students of all colleges and universities.

Climber compete individually in either beginner, intermediate, or advanced divisions for their gender. There is also a school award given to the school whose top five climbers have the best overall scores. Finals climbs are for only the men’s and women’s advanced divisions and will be conducted in a single on sight attempt with the winner getting highest on the climb.

Campus Recreation Services and Adventure Pursuits would like to take a moment to send our thanks to all who helped make the 7th Annual Baltimore Rampage Climbing Competition a resounding success.

We would first like to thank all the hard working staff and volunteers who poured countless hours into the planning, preparation, and operation of this event.  Without your dedication and hard work this competition would never have happened.

Secondly, we would like to thank all of our sponsors for their charitable donations of prizes for the competition.  In a time of economic crisis, you reached out and provided us with a plethora of gear that made sure that no competitor left Baltimore Rampage empty handed.

Lastly, we would like to thank each and every climber who came out on that dreary Saturday to spend the day climbing hard.  Without your interest and continued participation in the competition we would have never made it to our 7th year.  We extend our unconditional thanks to every one of our competitors and hope to see you again.
