CPR/AED & First Aid Courses
The American Red Cross course provides training for individuals to respond effectively in emergency situations.
In CPR for the Professional Rescuer and AED, you will learn to recognize and provide care for respiratory and cardiac emergencies. You will learn how to correctly use an Automated External Defibrillator to aid in cardiac emergencies.
The First Aid course will prepare the participant to: control severe bleeding, care for shock, soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries, sudden illness, and heat/cold related emergencies. There will be videos, demonstrations, as well as hands on experience.
Upon successful completion the participant will receive American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certifications which are valid for two years.
Course fees are non-refundable if the participant does not demonstrate skill competency, fails written test or cannot attend entire course.
If the instructor cancels class due to low registration numbers or unforeseen circumstances, full refunds will be given to registered participants.
Refunds, minus a $15 processing fee, will be given to registered participants if they are unable to make the course and request a refund 48 hours in advance. No refunds will be granted without 48 hours' notice.
Note: Participants must be on time and ready to partake in every session. It is recommended that participants arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the class start time. If a participant is late, this will result in failure of the course. Participants will not be permitted entry into the class late and will not be eligible to receive a refund.
