Student Employment

Campus Recreation Services employs over 150 students throughout the academic year to administer, manage and support day-to-day operations.

Employees must be currently enrolled Towson University students and are expected to carry out Campus Recreation Services' vision, mission and values.

Consideration for employment is based on the review of a completed Campus Recreation Services Student Employment Application and interview. Hiring may vary based upon position and program area.

How to Apply

  1. Attend a mandatory Employment Information Session.
  2. Complete a Student Employment Application (click here to open). Please right-click and save the file to your computer. Mac users, please fill out the form in Adobe Reader and not Preview.
  3. Click the Print button at the top of the form.
  4. If you are applying for a position in one of the following areas, please click on the program area to open the supplemental questions: Adventure Pursuits, Aquatics, Competitive Sports, Facilities & Informal Recreation, Fitness and Wellness, Main Office, or Marketing. Complete the form, then print and attach it to your application.
  5. Return the completed application to the Campus Recreation Services Main Office (Burdick Hall, Room 151) for any open positions.

Employment Information Sessions are the only way to become eligible for student employment with Campus Recreation. The Information Session will cover Campus Recreation Services' hiring procedures and highlight available positions. Please bring completed application to the Information Session.

 

**If hired with CRS, you will need the following forms of identification in order to get onto payroll:

1. A current passport

OR

2. A driver's license AND a social security card

OR

3. A driver's license AND a birth certificate**

You must bring originals!
