In collaboration with Alumni Relations, the Center for Student Diversity, the Veterans Center, Disability Support Services, Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and the Office of Student Activities, the Career Center at Towson University has launched the Career Mentor Database.
The purpose of the database is to assist students with their career development and job/internship search by helping to connect them with professionals who are working in the fields that interest them and to begin building a network of professional contacts.
We need your help!
We are looking for individuals to volunteer to become career mentors to current Towson University students. Becoming a career mentor is a great opportunity to share your career expertise with students and for alumni to stay connected to the Towson University community.
As a career mentor you will:
Create and manage your career mentor profile
Share your career expertise with TU students
Select the career activities in which you would like to become involved (e.g., informational interviews, email networking, resume and cover letter reviews, mock interviews, job shadowing, regular meetings with a mentee, etc.)
Please feel free to contact the Career Center by phone at 410-704-2233 or by email at careercenter@towson.edu if you have any additional questions about the Career Mentor Database.
