On-Campus Recruiting

You can meet with employers interested in hiring TU students through our convenient On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) program. The OCR program includes employer information sessions, employer information tables and on-campus interviews for internships and full-time jobs.

On-Campus Interviews

Interview conveniently on campus with employers interested in hiring TU students for job and internship opportunities. Competition for interview slots is limited to just TU students. To participate, follow the steps below.

  • Review the On-Campus Recruiting Orientation (PDF) and sign and return the On-Campus Recruiting Agreement Form (PDF).
  • Log in to your Hire@TU account using your TU NetID and password.
  • Complete your Hire@TU Profile and upload your resume (a resume review by the Career Center is strongly recommended).
  • Click “Interviews” then click “Qualified Interviews.”
  • Click “Submit Interview Request.” Choose your resume document and send. The application deadline is one week prior to the interview date; make sure you apply on time.
  • Following the application deadline, you will receive an email regarding employer decisions. If your application is accepted, you will be instructed to sign up via Hire@TU for an interview slot on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Prepare for the interview (a mock interview with the Career Center is strongly recommended), arrive on time, and follow up with a thank you letter.


Employer Information Sessions


Meet face-to-face with hiring organizations for an overview of their organizations and employment and/or internship opportunities. Often employers will also share tips on their application and interview processes. Take advantage of these opportunities to evaluate a potential employer and network. Come to information sessions prepared to make a great first impression by researching the organization, dressing professionally, and bringing your polished resume. Student Request for an Interview Room

The Career Center is pleased to launch Skype and Telephone Interview Capabilities in one of our Webcam Interview Rooms. This is a free service to students and employers.

Students who have an upcoming phone or Skype interview may request to use one of the interview rooms. Interview rooms have both phone and Skype capability. Students may also use their own cell-phone and laptop if they choose.

Interview Room Guidelines (Skype™ & Telephone)

  • Schedule the date and time of your interview with the Career Center to make sure the room is available. Contact the Recruitment Specialist to reserve your spot (Requests for an interview room must be placed a minimum of 2 business days in advance of the needed time).
  • Skype is a free service and you are allowed to use it for interview/career purposes as many times as necessary.
  • You must have your own personal Skype account to utilize this service. We can help you set one up if you need assistance.
  • For telephone interviews, you must give the employer the appropriate telephone number, given once reservation has been confirmed. Please do not call the employer, make sure they call you.
  • Interview Rooms are available Monday through Friday starting at 8:30 a.m. and closing at 4:30 p.m.
