Professional Experience (BUSX 460)

As part of the Business Excellence program, the Professional Experience course (BUSX 460) focuses on a successful transition from classroom to career. All students complete an internship while concurrently enrolled in the course. Through self-assessment, students develop a portfolio that demonstrates their knowledge, skills and attitudes and their commitment to lifelong career development.

To enroll in the Professional Experience (BUSX 460) course, students must meet the following criteria:

Senior standing (at least 90 units)
Admitted into the Business Administration, e-Business or Accounting major
Completion of the following courses: BUSX 301, FIN331, MNGT 361, and MKTG 341
Successful completion of an information session

Enrollment in the course is contingent upon approval of the student’s internship.
