Admission to the Major Requirements

Students must first be admitted to Towson and meet the requirements for admission into the business administration major. These requirements are:

  1. Formal admission to TU as a degree candidate
  2. Cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher for all course work
  3. Grade equivalent of 2.00 or higher in each course required for admission to the BUAD major
  4. Minimum grade of C for all of the courses required for admission to the BUAD major: 
  • Principles of Financial Accounting
  • Microeconomic Principles
  • Macroeconomic Principles
  • Legal Environment of Business
  • Statistics for Business & Economics
  • Calculus
