Introducing the SCiPM Certificate for the PMBA Track
The College of Business & Economics, in conjunction with the American Society for the
Advancement of Project Management (asapm®) is proud to introduce the
Student Certificate in Project Management (SCiPM). This certificate - pronounced
as "skip-em" - is a unique feature of the Project Management and Business Analysis (PMBA) Track
within the Business Administration Major. This certificate is valid for three years from the time it is
awarded. The certificate is awarded to any PMBA track student who takes the certification exam and
successfully passes it.The exam is normally administered at the end of each semester - December for the Fall semester and
May for the Spring semester. The exact dates of the exam will be announced on this page at a later time.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be an admitted student in the Project Management & Business Analysis (PMBA) track within
the Business Administration Major.
- Should have finished or slated to finish at a minimum the EBTM 443, EBTM 450
and EBTM 462 courses.
- All processes for registering for the exam (including the exam fee payment of $65 - includes a $15 asapm student
membership fee) should be complete by
the stated deadlines.
