Management students have opportunities to participate in events throughout the year, such as panel discussions and presentations by business community representatives to gain first-hand knowledge of their career possibilities after graduation. Student organizations provide many of these opportunities and more.
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is devoted to the development of human resource management and organizational strategy. In partnership with the Chesapeake Human Resource Association, SHRM offers opportunities including scholarships, networking, internships, peer mentoring, resume building and mock interviews.

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is an international nonprofit organization that brings together the top leaders of today and tomorrow to create a better, more sustainable world through the positive power of business. The SIFE Team at Towson University provides opportunities for provides opportunities for students to design and implement service projects that address real problems in local, as well as international communities. SIFE Team members have exclusive access to scholarships, conferences and networking events, and have the opportunity to gain international recognition in the annual SIFE World Cup Competition, where the best of the 1500 SIFE University Teams showcase their projects in front of business leaders from around the world. SIFE is open to all majors.
