Microsoft Developers Network - Academic
Alliance
The College of Business and Economics (CBE) is subscribed to the
Microsoft's Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA) annual
membership program. The MSDNAA subscription provides Microsoft platform,
server, and developer tools in our labs for instructional and research
purposes.
As a continuing project for the Spring 2009 semester and due to benefits
of the program, CBE is making a subset of the MSDNAA software titles
available to students for use on their personal computers. Eligible
students will be pre-registered and will receive an e-mailed
registration notice with their MSDNAA username (your TU e-mail address),
password, and introductory access information. The Instructors will
provide the list of students to the CBE Technology Coordinator for each class.
The MSDNAA e-Academy provides an option to purchase CDs at a minimal
cost of the media, (approximately $5 to $20 depending on the product).
If you do not have a high-speed internet connection or do not have
experience downloading and installing software, you should consider
ordering CDs through the e-Academy Web site.
If you have additional requirements, it is recommended that you purchase
the products at the standard academic discount from the University Store
or through K-12 Micromedia Publishing.
Eligibility
Student users must be a declared and enrolled as a major in a CBE
program, and have a tiger e-mail account. If you meet these requirements
and did receive the introductory or registration and notices, please
contact the CBE Technology Coordinator. You will be put on a list to be added to
the Website. This is for account set up ONLY!
*NOTICE*
CBE is offering these packages as "unsupported" software. We do
not provide any download or installation trouble-shooting support, or
additional activation codes due to download problems or corrupted CD
images. The e-Academy site provides links to an online automated support
agent; see the sidebar link for "request customer support" on the ELMS
login page after clicking on the support tab. |
