CBE Writing Proficiency Program
Writing consultants are available to help students refine their business writing skills through critique and consultation in the CBE Writing Proficiency Program.
Software for Students
The college provides students with some free and low-cost software that is used in the classroom.
Get Involved—Student Organizations
The college’s student organizations are active in linking the college with the community. Towson University's chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), has received the Medallion for Entrepreneurship, the Gold Chapter Award and the Business Achievement Award.
Internships
Our students have many opportunities to apply their business acumen through internships at area businesses, government, and nonprofit organizations, including McCormick and Co., Stanley Black and Decker, PricewaterhouseCoopers, T. Rowe Price, the Baltimore Museum of Industry, Northrop Grumman, KPMG, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Marriott International, Provident Bank, and many others.

T. Rowe Price Finance Lab
The T. Rowe Price Finance Lab replicates the functionality of Wall Street’s top trading firms, providing an advanced teaching and research environment.
Comprehensive Business Exam
In MNGT 481, students complete a Comprehensive Business exam as a capstone to their undergraduate career at Towson.
The exam covers material learned throughout the business program and counts for 10% of their final grade in the course. Students may use the study guide to prepare them for the exam.
