The College of Business and Economics offers students free software titles such as Microsoft Project for use on their personal computers. See the Available Software (PDF).
Student users must be enrolled as a major in a CBE program, and have a TU Webmail account to access this software.
If you meet these requirements, please contact the CBE Technology Coordinator, Jeremy Farkas at jfarkas@towson.edu to have an account set up for you.
If you do not have a high-speed internet connection or do not have experience downloading and installing software, you should consider ordering the CD software through the DreamSpark website. DreamSpark provides an option to purchase a CD version of the software at a minimal cost, approximately $5 to $20 depending on the product.
If you have additional requirements, it is recommended that you purchase the products at the standard academic discount from the University Store or through K-12 Micromedia Publishing.
CBE offers these packages as "unsupported" software. We do not provide any download or installation trouble-shooting support, or additional activation codes due to download problems or corrupted CD images. The DreamSpark site provides links to an online automated support. See the sidebar link for "request customer support" on the DreamSpark login page after clicking on the support tab.
