Secondary Education (BS)

Chemistry majors completing the Secondary Education Program receive a B.S. in Chemistry and certification to teach in Maryland. Students seeking certification must register with the Department of Secondary Education and should have an adviser in that department in addition to their chemistry faculty adviser.

Science Education - Chemistry Track (MS)

The Master of Science in Science Education is designed to enhance the content knowledge and teaching skills of Maryland state high school science teachers. The program will prepare them for national board certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS).
