How to Apply

Application Deadline: Friday, April 25, 2008

Electronic submission of application materials and recommendations is encouraged!

All of the following required application materials must be received by the deadline.

  • student application form (complete below)
  • college transcript (unofficial electronic version is fine)
  • two faculty recommendations (please request that they be sent electronically)
  • one-page personal statement (see guidelines below)

The student application can be completed below. The college transcript and personal statement should be emailed as attachments (last name as file name).

Guidelines for personal statement:

  • Write a one-page personal statement describing your academic interests and career goals.
  • Comment on how an interdisciplinary environmental research experience might benefit your interests.
  • Describe any prior research experience you have had.
  • List any preferences you have for content areas (environmental chemistry, ecology, animal behavior, human health, etc.)
