Required Courses
General Education Requirements
Students must complete Towson University’s General Education Requirements as specified in the Undergraduate Catalog. In general, a graduate from one of the associate degree programs included in the Allied Health program will need to complete 12 to 21 credits of General Education courses in addition to those that are transferred. Several of those courses also satisfy program requirements.
Because students have access to their online Degree Progress
Report, the Academic Standards Committee will no longer
entertain General Education appeals based on misadvising
stemming from the use of individual departmental advising
sheets.”
Students should consult their online Degree Progress Report to
verify their degree progress, especially fulfillment of GenEds
and 32 upper-level credits.
Core Requirements (18 credits)
All students are required to complete 18 credit hours of core courses in the program. One course (sample courses listed) must be completed in each of the following areas. Italicized courses
