The College of Health Professions offers many campus resources that support undergraduate and graduate learning experiences in a wide range of fields that promote and enhance health and human performance. We've got "smart" classrooms, equipped with multimedia capabilities, and computer labs and clinical skills labs with virtual reality simulations and state-of-the-art equipment.
Outside the classroom, our students have internship opportunities at more than 300 health care and sport-related settings in the region, including Johns Hopkins Hospital, University of Maryland Hospital, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Kennedy Krieger Institute, TU's Wellness Center and Towson Sports Medicine, and with the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles.
Students are encouraged to meet with an adviser and the placement coordinator in their department to discuss degree requirements, internships, clinical experiences and field placements.
In addition to classes and internships, clinicals and student-teaching experiences, you'll have opportunities to join student groups with your classmates, and get involved. You can participate in the Maryland Senior Olympics, Race for the Cure, Healthfest, marathon events and scholarship days.
