On May 231, 2012, the College of Liberal Arts will celebrate the academic
achievement of students who will be graduating with gpa's of 3.5 or
above at the CLA Academic Recognition Convocation in Stephens Hall at 10
a.m.
Students across the several disciplines in the College of Liberal Arts
demonstrate high academic accomplishment across the full range of
courses taken during their undergraduate years. The College would like
to acknowledge that work by recognizing, at the CLA Awards Recognition
Convocation, those graduating seniors majoring in a Liberal Arts
discipline who have achieved a cumulative TU gpa of 3.5 or higher
through the end of the fall semester. As the Convocation celebrates the
achievement of graduates, it also recognizes faculty who have
announced their retirement during the current academic year.
We encourage
students being honored to invite family to join them at the
Convocation. Students being honored are requested to assemble in Stephens Hall at 9
am in Room 310 in their cap and gown.
Honored students and
their guests are also invited to a lunch reception
immediately following the convocation ceremony in Stephens Hall outside
of the Stephens Hall Theater.
Congratulations on the achievements
of our honored students!
