Biography

Erin Fehskens teaches courses in postcolonial literature, twentieth century global/world literature, and future worlds. She has published articles and presented conference papers on well-known and lesser-known writers and artists such as Derek Walcott, Dennis Scott, Caryl Phillips, Lubaina Himid, M. NourbeSe Philip, Nalo Hopkinson, and Aimé Césaire. She is currently completing a book project titled Crick Crack, Muse: Afterlives of Epic in the Black Atlantic, 1939-present. Dr. Fehskens is also the LIT advisor and Honors Thesis director for the English Department.
