On the evening of Sunday, 18 April 2010, we engaged in some good ol’ fashion advertising. The Democrats and Libertarians worked together to promote the withdraw of American troops. We placed a banner on the Union bridge with a message reminiscent to that made by Jefferson during his first inaugural address. Jefferson said we should have “peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, [and] entangling alliances with none.” We also engaged in some chalking in the Speaker Circle.
