TEACHING INTERNSHIP

TIMS Application

Before entering the internship, each potential intern must complete an online application is located on the PeopleSoft site at https://inside.towson.edu/intranetstudents/

 (click on 'PeopleSoft' under Towson Online Services in the right hand menu) for the Teacher Intern Management System(TIMS).

Interns applying for Fall teaching should apply no later than March and those who plan to enter the second semester in the Spring should apply no later than October. Please check with the Center for Professional Practice office for specific dates and the directions for using the TIMS program.

The TIMS electronic site can also be used to retrieve placement information once it is made available. Mentor teachers will use the TIMS electronic system for evaluating the interns.
