Instructional Technology (Ph.D.)

The Instructional Technology (Ph.D.) program focuses on the development of pedagogical expertise and the integration digital learning tools to meet the present and future needs of instruction across the educational spectrum.

Instructional Technology (M.S.)

The Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology is an applied professional program with concentrations in:

  • Instructional Design and Development
  • School Library Media
  • Educational Technology

Instructional Design and Development Graduate Certificate

The Instructional Design and Development Graduate Certificate develops instructional design and media-related competencies for those who wish to work in training or instructional settings in business, industry, government, and the military or medical education.

Educational Technology Graduate Certificate

The Educational Technology Graduate Certificate is designed for K-12 educators to learn and lead technology integration practices in schools.

The Online Learning and Teaching Graduate Certificate is designed for preK-12 educators, instructional leaders, program directors, professional development staff, higher education faculty, instructional design specialists, chief learning officers and other professionals.

School Library Media Graduate Certificate

The school library media certificate program is designed for educators who already possess a master’s degree and wish to pursue Maryland State Department of Education library media specialist certification.
