Department of Early Childhood Education
Welcome
to Towson University's Department of Early Childhood Education!
The faculty members in the Department prepare teachers to act as
advocates for young children---from birth through eight years of
age---and their families, and to create and facilitate diverse and
technologically relevant developmentally appropriate environments
for them. It is our belief that the teaching of young children is
a calling in which the teacher believes that only the very best
is good enough for the young.
