Department of Early Childhood Education
Welcome
to Towson University's Department of Early Childhood Education!
The faculty members in the Department prepare teachers to act as
advocates  for young children—from birth through eight years of
age—and their families, and to create and facilitate diverse and
technologically relevant developmentally appropriate environments
for them. It is our belief that the teaching of young children is
a calling in which the teacher believes that only the very best
is good enough for the young.
