Jaime Cooper is a lecturer for the Elementary Education Department. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Salisbury University and her Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. After teaching middle school in the Maryland public school system for three years, she moved to Florida to work at an elementary charter school. She taught in Florida for five years, focusing on the areas of Reading and Writing. She conducted trainings on reading assessment and led a professional development monthly meeting on Writing to foster further development of the school-wide writing curriculum and state testing. Jaime moved back to Maryland in 2011 and joined Towson in the fall. She currently teaches the ELED 363 Language and Literacy Internship class.
