Michelle Pasko joined the Elementary Education Department in spring 2010. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Towson University and a Master of Arts in Instructional Systems Development: Concentration in Mathematics Education from UMBC. In addition to teaching Social Studies Methods for ELED majors and Writing Skills for Elementary Teachers, Michelle supervises the Language and Literacy Internship for EESE Majors. She also serves on the ELED Multiculturalism and Diversity Committee and Writing for Educators Committee. Prior to working at TU, she taught third and fifth grades for Anne Arundel County Public Schools, where she served as Grade Group Chairperson, Team Leader for Intermediate Grades, and Lead Math Teacher. Michelle is certified to teach elementary school in Maryland and Pennsylvania, as well as K-12 Spanish in Pennsylvania, and is a member of NCSS.
