Dr. Michael E. Hickey is the
Naomi Hentz Price Distinguished Professor for
Educational Leadership and the Director for the Center
for Leadership in Education at Towson University. Dr.
Hickey earned his doctorate in Educational
Administration from the University of Washington. He has
received numerous honors and awards for leadership,
served on state and national boards and commissions, and
most recently directed the leadership task force of the
MSDE Visionary Panel. Dr. Hickey is a former
Superintendent of Howard County Public Schools.
