The Education Innovation Lab, in Hawkins Hall Room 110, is a faculty resource for technology support, faculty-led workshops and assistance with integrating technology into instruction. The mission of the lab is to enhance, model and support teaching and learning with technology.
The lab houses two interactive whiteboards – one a SMARTBoard and the other a Promethean Board – seven computer workstations, two LCD projectors and an instructor station outfitted with a document camera and Crestron control unit . Flexible room seating capacity is 25.
Faculty of all skill levels are encouraged to visit the lab to ask questions of a member of our support team or participate in demonstrations of best practices with technologies that enhance face-to-face and online instruction. Common requests for assistance include use of new devices and software or help converting existing content into more dynamic and interactive media.
Faculty may request assistance during open lab hours or by making an appointment for a more formal plan of implementing technology into instruction by contacting email@example.com.
