M.S. in Human Resource Development -- Educational Leadership
Program Description
The Master of Science in human resource development (HRD) with a track in educational leadership is a multidisciplinary program, which emphasizes the management of change necessary for individuals and educational organizations as they adapt to a dynamic environment. This program is designed around those standards of the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium and is approved by the Maryland State Department of Education for individuals seeking certification as Administrator I, and who have met the other eligibility requirements for this certification as established by the Maryland State Department of Education.
The program in educational leadership is organized around a required core of courses and prescribed courses drawing from the disciplines of education, management, and psychology, and addresses issues related to educational reform, curriculum change, individual and organizational development, and the administration of schools and educational settings.
