Public Accountability Measures

As teacher education and educator preparation in general are increasingly scrutinized and criticized for lacking evidence of preparing effective educators, the Towson University Professional Education Unit is working with NCATE and CAEP to share some elements of our aggregate candidate performances on select accountability measures.

NCATE currently publicizes its accreditation decisions on its website. Towson's Professional Education Unit was accredited most recently in 2007, and information related to that accreditation visit is available on its website.
