Chair's Message David Wizer, Department Chair The Department
of Educational Technology and Literacy (EDTL)
is home to a wide range of graduate, undergraduate and outreach
programs offered within the College of Education. We offer
a wide range of undergraduate support courses in developmental
reading and educational technology for all
teacher education students. At the graduate level, EDTL offers
programs in Reading, Educational Technology, Instructional Design
and Development and School Library Media. In the area of Instructional
Technology, EDTL is the home of the new doctoral degree program.
EDTL is also is home for the Technology mentoring grant (PT3)
as well as the Reading Clinic. A wide range of technology resources
support programs in Reading and Instructional
Technology. These resources include the Educational Technology
Center, the Multimedia laboratory, a demonstration lab for assistive
technology and a number of technology enhanced classrooms. All
