The major in special education requires a minimum of 127 semester hours
of college credit. An average GPA of 2.75 or higher is required for
entering and remaining in the program, and a GPA of at least 3.0 in the
major is required for entering student teaching. The following listing

To enter the program, students must pass speech and
hearing screening; have a GPA of 2.75 or higher; completed ENGL 102 with
a grade of 2.0 or higher; have completed 60 or more credits; and, have
scores on the Praxis I at or above the level of standards established by
